manufacturing special purpose cathode ray tubes (CRT's) and direct view storage
tubes (DVST's) for over 30 years. Our products are used in a wide range of
custom military and commercial applications. Wherever custom CRT's are

Lexel Imaging Systems began as a
manufacturer of specialty CRT’s and through a series of acquisitions, partnering
and technology sharing has evolved into a multifaceted organization with a
range of specialized capabilities. The
company began in the 1930’s and became part of Hughes Aircraft Company in 1989. In 1997, the company split from Hughes
and became Lexel Imaging Systems. In
2000, Video Display Company acquired Lexel and since then the company has grown
and expanded through a number of acquisitions involving:
